The Story Of Beulah
Land Cowboy Church
One very nice fall
afternoon in late September Lewis Whiteman was doing some contracted work on the
factory where I am the manager. We were leaning against his pick up talking and
I was telling him about a great church service Brian Gallimore and I had been
part of at the East Tn Cutting Horse Show over in Harriman Tennessee and that
Brian and I were praying about starting Cowboy Way Ministires. Lewis’ eyes lit
up and I could tell he had something on his mind.
Lewis is the Pastor of
Cypress Creek Baptist Church in Martin Tn and is on the Missions Committee for
the Beulah Baptist Association in West Tennessee. He knew that the committee
had an empty Church building and grounds in Martin Tenn and they were praying
for the Lord to guide them to the purpose for the building. Cowboy Church was
one of the options that they felt was a Real ministry that God would bless in
this area. When he heard my story, he felt that God had shown him the man to
use in this position. Well, All Praise to the Lord, I am now serving as the
Senior Evangelist at Beulah Land Cowboy Church in Martin Tennessee.
We had our Grand Open
House Celebration on Saturday November 24, 2007. ( see pictures) We had over
175 visitors that day and had an allround Cowboy-up good time!!!
We now meet at 9am on Sunday
Morning for worship service and Bible Practice follows. We have a Bible study
on Tuesday nite. We meet at Pa Ha Stables on Parker Levee Road in Martin at 6pm
(in good weather) and at the church at 7. On Thursday nites we have a Music
Jam, which includes Christian Karaoke and any one that wants to sing, can!! We
always have a Hot pot of coffee, cold drinks and the Christian Love that we
nurture here at Beulah Land. Please contact us and or Drop in and sit a spell.
May God Bless you and Your
Family,
Roger and Cindy McPeak
